Ancient Oak Gun Club hearing today in Bradenton

0

I’ll be covering the Ancient Oak Gun Club hearing today, which will be held at 1 pm in the Manatee County Commission chambers, located at 1112 Manatee Ave. West, Bradenton.

Manatee County hearing officer Lori M. Dorman will take testimony from officials representing a church and a  school, which uses a nearby wooded acreage several times a year. These officials have raised concerns about noise.

The proposed sporting clay range is being developed by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, which hopes to offer a 24-station sporting clay course on its 80-acre site, located six miles east of Interstate 75 and south of State Road 64.
