There are few female shooters who have sent more rounds downrange than Julie Golub.

Julie has earned more than 120 championships in a half-dozen disciplines. She’s also a decorated former member of the Army’s AMU, captain of Team Smith & Wesson and a respected author.

Julie has recently written an 8-page pamphlet designed for female shooters titled: “Shooting While Pregnant – A Resource for Expecting Moms.”

You can download the pamphlet for free here.

She addresses the biggest concerns for pregnant shooters: lead and noise.

“There is not exactly a wealth of information out there on the subject of whether or not to shoot while you are pregnant. Women who shoot and hunt aren’t exactly the most studied demographic and pregnant women represent an even smaller segment,” Golob told the Outdoor Wire. “Despite the limited information specific to female shooters, there are resources that can help pregnant shooters make educated decisions on shooting while pregnant, especially with regard to exposure to lead, noise, and other contaminants.”
