Lee Williams can’t remember a time in his life when he wasn’t shooting. Before becoming a journalist, Lee served in the Army and worked as a police officer. He’s earned more than a dozen journalism awards as a reporter, and three medals of valor as a cop. He is an NRA-certified law enforcement firearms instructor, an avid tactical shooter and a training junkie.   2. I agree with everything you’ve said in the video. It is a great pistol. However…I’ve never been able to get past the high bore axis above your hand which results in excess muzzle rise/flip over many other pistols. I seem to be able to “ride the front sight” and return sights on target with my 1911 .45’s better then I can with a 9mm P226.

    That being said, I still might have to give an P226 Extreme a go. Excellent review. You touched on several issues I routinely see omitted from similar reviews.
