SilencerCo CEO Joshua Waldron understands that his firm’s new “Conquest Kit” isn’t for everyone.
The massive kit contains 14 silencers and 47 accessories — one of everything they make.
It also retails for $20,000.
“Basically, we’re targeting the higher-net-worth individual who likes quality
products and doesn’t want to go through the hassle of all the forms,” Waldron said Tuesday.
With 14 suppressors, the kit needs 14 separate federal tax stamps. However, it’s not something a higher-net-worth individual need bother with.
“We do all the paperwork and pay the taxes,” Waldron said. “$20,000 covers it all.”
The kit, Waldron said, is meant for the “inner circle.”
“It’s an extremely limited product,” he explained. “They’re selling like crazy. In fact, right now we’re sold out.”
SilencerCo says they are “revolutionizing the hunting experience, making firearms hearing safe for all hunting and shooting applications.”
The firm has a 40 percent share of the suppressor market.
“We have some military and law enforcement sales, but mostly we’re selling to civilians at this time,” he said. “We also have some smaller contracts with foreign militaries.”
With products like the Conquest Kit, I predict their market share will continue to grow.
