There are few things I enjoy more than watching a true master at work.
Make no mistake, Eddie Turner, the Cerakote specialist at Gun Point, which is located in Bradenton, Florida, is such a master.
Eddie recently painted one of my AKs in a Vietnam-era tiger stripe camouflage pattern.
It’s simply incredible — perfect. His work far exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be happier or recommend Eddie highly enough.
Here’s my reaction:

Gun Point owner Felex “The Mad Russian” Yukhtman has recently added staff so Eddie can concentrate on his art full time — a great business decision.
The guys are trying a new product — Cerakote Elite — which is even harder and more abrasion resistant than traditional Cerakote, which is pretty damn hard and abrasion resistant.
If you’re interested in turning one of your firearms into a true one-of, stop in.
Prices are dependent on exactly what the customer wants.
And while you’re there, make sure you ask to peek inside Gun Point’s legendary vault.
Thanks Eddie and Felex!!

Cerakote is a great product
Eddie does a nice job. He sure seems to like the distressed look
Although I call myself docduracoat, I have abandoned that product and completely switched to Cerakote
It is so easy to apply that a child could do it.
Certainly any do it yourself person could do it themselves.
Just follow the directions exactly as the manufacturer says
Hi Lee,
I have to tell you that I too have always been a fan of the “Tiger Stripe” camouflage. Would it be unethical to ask you how much that Cerakote cost you? I have a Kel-Tec Sub 2K that would look darn good with a face lift.
In your opinion, what would Look good on a Glock-19 ? I am traditional, no Hell Boy stuff for me.
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Lee,
Cerakote is an extraordinary item. It’s just unfathomable — impeccable.
Thanks,
