Lightning strikes twice: The Gun Writer wins another journalism award

The Gun Writer won first place in niche site category of the 2018 Florida Society of News Editors Journalism Contest.

This comes on the heels of being our first place win in the best blog writing category of the Society of Professional Journalists 2018 Sunshine State Awards, where journalists from across Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are recognized for their reporting in 2017.
