I received a notification from Facebook last week: “Because your Page posts are being seen by a lot of people, we’re requiring you to confirm your primary country/region.”
Fine, I thought. No problem.
I’ve had a Facebook Page for more than seven years. I’m an American after all, not a Russian bot.
I followed the instructions they sent to the letter. I turned on the GPS on my phone, confirmed I was a proud Floridian located in the United States of America. I didn’t think much of it.
And then on Friday I received this:
We’re requiring people who manage Pages with high potential reach to:
- Confirm your primary country location so we can confirm where you are basedUntil you complete the steps above, any actions you take on your Page will be shown from , not The Gun Writer.
